Garuda Indonesia has been involved in
the cargo business since its founding in 1949. As it continued developing new
business potentials, in 1996, a Cargo Division was created to better focus on
the growing cargo business. Ceaselessly seeking new opportunities, Cargo Garuda
Indonesia, with its long-standing experience in the business, finally become a
Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in 2002.
As part of its long-terms plans, Cargo Garuda
Indonesia aims to become an independently managed subsidiary of Garuda
Indonesia. This new status is expected to boost our competence in meeting
market demands for air freight. In addition to our modern cargo center located
in the dedicated cargo area of the Soekarno - Hatta international Airport,
Cargo Garuda Indonesia also operates its own fully domestic, export/ import
warehouses, and rush handling area.
At present, Cargo Garuda Indonesia carries shipment to
all domestic and international cities within Garuda Indonesia's network. In its
plans to broaden international service, Cargo Garuda Indonesia has been
establish hoist operation trough strategic partnerships. To accommodate its
expanding network and it increased cargo volume, Cargo Garuda Indonesia will
eventually operate a medium freighter to serve domestic and regional routes.

1.Preparation Phase

the category DANGEROUS GOODS), COMPLETE REPORT and dokumenya
(MSDS, Shipper Declaration, proof of booking / reservation, AWB, and other
documents from relevant agencies
§ Ensure the availability of documents that need
(permit, proof of booking, reservation can be used for those who do not have
high school)
§ Ensure procedures for packing / packing according to
the number, weight, and type of goods
§ Ensure that the driver transport goods have licenses
and other legal information

2. Stage Examination

8. Shipper certificate for the live animal (LTF, eel,
crabs, and LOBSTER)
9. Shipper for DG cargo declaration for dangerous goods
